This report describes the work carried out by the Supervisory Board and its committees during the financial year. In 2023, the activities of the Supervisory Board focused on DZ BANK’s strategy, its capital situation, and the current regulatory challenges. Other matters dealt with by Supervisory Board members during meetings included the topics of sustainability, digitalization, liquidity, and funding.

In the Group Coordination Committee, the group’s entities coordinate with each other to ensure consistency with regard to management of opportunities and risks, capital allocation, strategic issues, and leveraging of synergies.
